一、考试性质、 目的与要求：

《英语翻译基础》是翻译硕士专业学位 (MTI) 研究生入学考试的专业基础 课考试科目，其目的是考查学生是否具备进行 MTI 学习所要求的翻译基础。

《英语翻译基础》要求考生具有较好的文学修养，具备中外文化传播、科 技翻译、公共服务翻译 (含法律翻译、商务翻译等) 等领域的基础性背景知识， 掌握中英双语在选词、造句、谋篇方面的异同，具备英汉互译的基本技巧，在翻 译过程中能根据语篇类型 (文体) 选择适宜的翻译策略与翻译方法，能根据中英 双语差异理解原文，使用地道、准确的目标语构建译文，翻译速度达到 250—300 个英语词汇/小时，200-250 个汉字/小时。

二、考试范围与内容概要

( 一) 英汉双语对比与翻译

要求考生了解英汉双语语法的整体性差异，了解双语在句子组织原则方面， 在选择主谓宾等句子成分方面，在语序方面，在词语语义关系方面，在用词虚实 隐显等方面的差异，能够根据双语差异采用相应的翻译转换手段产出适宜的译 文。

(二) 文学翻译

要求考生具备较好的文学修养，能够识别、判断原文的审美价值和交际价值， 能够使用文学语言进行翻译转换，产出具备相似 (或对等) 审美价值和交际价值 的译文。

(三) 科技翻译

要求考生具备较宽广的科学技术领域的背景知识，能够读懂能源科技、医学、计算机、生物工程等领域的科普性语篇，以及与数理化生等基础学科相关的非专 业性语篇，掌握此类语篇的语言特征，并能选择合适的翻译策略进行译文构建。

(四)  公共服务翻译

要求考生掌握交通、旅游、文化娱乐、教育、体育、医疗卫生、餐饮住宿、 商业金融、邮政电信、商务及商贸类法律领域的基础知识，法律语言在选词造句 成篇方面的基本特点，熟悉法律翻译的基本原则，能够翻译买卖合同、租赁合同、 建筑合同、招投标文件、调查报告、公司章程等应用型、商务性法律文件的常见条款，以及其他公共服务和商务领域相关文本。

三、考试形式与试卷结构

( 一) 试卷满分值及考试时间

本试卷满分为 150 分，考试时间为 180 分钟。

(二) 答题方式

答题方式为闭卷、笔试。试卷由试题和答题纸组成；答案必须写在答题纸相 应的位置上。

(三) 试卷内容结构

本考试包括四个部分：句子翻译 (30 分)、文学翻译 (40 分)、科技翻译 (40 分)、法律翻译 (40 分)。
